Zivia Berkowitz is a rock climbing, hiking, and mountaineering instructor for NOLS as well as an AMGA Single Pitch Instructor. Zivia has been traveling, working, climbing in the western part of the US for the last couple years working a variety of jobs in the outdoor industry.  Growing up in New Jersey, Zivia stumbled upon rock climbing at a local gym their senior year of high school and was inspired to seek opportunities to get outside.. Zivia is passionate about building community amongst folks who hold identities that are underrepresented in outdoor spaces and is so excited to be part of Expedition Above The Clouds!
