Research
CU Boulder’s Bioastronautics Lab will assess the performance, comfort, and usability of wearable sensor systems in extreme environments by equipping expedition members with chest-based sensors to monitor physiological and psychological factors before, during, and after the North Pole expedition.

The College of Wyoming will analyze air and ice quality during the
expedition to assess environmental conditions and their potential impacts using field sampling and sensor-based monitoring.
