In 2022, during the Full Circle Everest funding campaign, I mentioned that Everest was the start of something much greater. We would continue to encourage others to get outside and connect with nature. I feel that I am currently doing the work I am called to do, supporting young people and their connection to the outdoors and working as a mentor to build the next generation of outdoor leaders.
Over the past two years, Full Circle Expeditions has taught ice climbing workshops at 4 ice festivals. We have also supported other organizations such as SOS Outreach, Detroit Outdoors, and Negus in Nature, and Khumbu Climbing Center through various other events. Â
Most of all, we started the Plant a Seed Project, making visits to more than 14 schools in 7 states and connecting with more than 1000 young people from communities that are not generally connected to the outdoors. I believe that the impact we make today is helping in the lives of tomorrow. 2024 has been a truly successful year. Â
Â
We need your help! Corporate funding has all but dried up over recent months. Political pressure, economics and uncertainty are disrupting the critical funding we have received in the past. Non-profit organizations such as ours continue to bear the burden of the uncertainty that has overcome the entire country and industry. With this turn of events, we need public support more now than ever.   Â
We will continue to create opportunities where everyone feels comfortable getting outside, and has access to the mentorship and support they need to maintain that connection and thrive. Â
I am asking you to move into the future with Full Circle Expeditions and make a donation today. With your help the work we do to connect individuals, families and communities that we are committed to serving will continue.  Â
Thank you.Â
